Feeling it today.

After tapering to one pill a day I never imagined my wd would be bad at all. I was wrong. Today I have the sweats, diahrea and other flu like symptoms. Not as bad as I've had in the past when I've run out of pills after doing 6-8 a day leading up to it but I am hurting. I told myself that nomatter how bad I felt I would still ride my bike but by the time I felt well enough to do it we got hit with a thunderstorm.
I'm glad that I flushed the rest of my pills away but I don't think I would have taken them anyways, I have no intention of going back to that lifestyle again.

Take it day by day and this too will pass (along with all the other stuff passing).  Hang in there...you'll get through it.

To make matters worse my cat is going through heat right now so we're both moaning and groaning. I should have had her fixed by now but there's alot of things I should have been doing that I have'nt. Now that my head is clear I'll put that on the top of my list. Right now all I can think about is keeping a bucket nearbye. So much for avoiding withdrawl altogether.

hey steve, sorry you are feeling so rough. but like you said not as bad as before. you know it will get better soon, even right now probably feels like it will last forever. just hang in there and keep kicking butt. it is true even if it takes everything inside of you ride the bike or walk. any kind of exercise helps sooo much. are you taking any  of the "thomas recipe" it really helped me in the first days. you are in my prayers. oh also be sooo proud of getting rid the pills. i did the same cause i knew if i had them somehow i would talk myself into taking them so CONGRATS.

i'm sorry cuz i'm not on the forum very often or with much consistency....so i've probably missed some prior posts of yours....did you do a very quick taper and then flush?  good for  you for flushing....don't think i could ever do that....hats off to you!

hang in there....my prayers are with you that the days WILL get brighter again....and as soon as possible, get out there and ride that bike!  my doctor told me right out that the quicker we can "turn over" the old cells in our body, the quicker we'll feel better....and the quickest way to turn over those old cells is to exercise, so you've got that right :-)

hope things continue to get better for you....

blessings,
kim

Hang in there Steve.

It may be bad for a while, but it's temporary.
And being off those demons will be soooo worth it.
