WHY METHADONE
why would anyone be put on methadone or subutex and suffer months of withdrawl coming off those two drugs rather than just going through the 3 to 4 days of ct?
good questions and long answers ....i guess at the end, each one of us try to find a way to leave behind the nightmares and the suffering we have while on active addiction the best we can.. and some of us got stuck after many attempts and can't see any other solution than this of using methadone or subuxone... what do they do ? they bit the bullet and go through these wds or they go back to use, this is what i have witnessed here
methadone is for physical withdrawl is it not? of course you cant just quit for 3 days and say hurray, but what do you do when you are going through the sever withdrawl of methadone that lasts for months????? counseling? new people places and things? or a semisynthetic opiate that is pure hell to wd from?
because staying clean is much, much more difficult than just detoxing and going through wds. The easy part is detoxing, aintworthit. This is not a matter of 3/4 days of ct,
