Fractured knee 6 weeks ago put on hrydro. Decided on my own to just take when needed for knee pain. Stoped 6 days ago Oh my gosh I am so sick!!!! What can I do, and should I seek medical advice???

I was feeling a bit better now have this awful headache , worse than a migrain. Should this be expected?

Yes I went to rehab to get off of Xannx that the dr. Had me on for 23 years. Also been in a auto accident and given oxycodon. I had so had enough of doctors that I checked in and did what I had to do to get better. Do I trust drs????  Then told ER doctor said it would be no problem. That I needed the pills for pain. I am so disappointed in myself should have known better.

Don't be disappointed in yourself for trusting the doctor. The pain medication is highly addictive and since you have a past, which I suspected, then you see how fast it can happen.

Try and make yourself relax and get comfortable. You should be through the worst of it today. Take hot baths, push fluids and try light exercise when you can. If you don't feel better tomorrow, call him!!

Try and read a book or watch movies to keep your mind occupied. And talk here whenever you need to. Someone is always around.

Yes last year I went to rehab for 30 days to get off of Xnaxx I had been Dr. Prescribe for 23 years.  I made that chose he would not . So do I trust drs???? Told emer. Room doc. That I did go to rehab, said don't worry it's not xanxx.  Yes very disappointed in myself.

Hi Sissy,

You have all the classic symptoms of withdrawal but it seems odd since you were on a relatively low dose for a short period of time. You really should phone your doctor and explain what is happening. He/she can help you.

Also, have you had addiction issues in the past with anything else?

He had me on vicodn. At first er had me on 10/500. But just took a couple until next day I could see bone doc.

He had me on 7.5 every 4 hours or 2 every 6 hours. I only took 2 in 24 hour period. Maybe 3 at first week of leg fracture. The last one I took was sunday 5-13-12. Still have more than half bottle. Don't want them!!!!

I am still in a leg brace, which makes things worse.

I can't keep anything down, hurt all over, cold, headache stomach really hurts. Anxiety really bad!!!!!!

Please call your prescribing physician. After 6 days you should be feeling better and if you are not your doctor should check you out,
