it's helped alot of us get off pain pills. it takes almost all desire away for them.
for many of us, it's been a "miracle drug." and there is a celing effect on it, so you don't get high, nor absue them.
from what i've read, you need to taper off very slowly though, if on for more than 21 days (i have been on it a couple months, so I don't know yet.)
i would highly recommend doing it under a doctor's supervision (an addiction specialist) who will also give you counceling as well, if you are considering.
i've read alot of people on here getting it off the streets and i just don't get it. with all the dough we've spent on drugs, and if the desire is really there to get off opiates, then there really is no reason not to do it (the Sub) the "right way" - and hedge your bets the best you can to stay off the pills..
so there's some info for ya!
best,
mj
I've never heard of it either.. Hope it helps!
I have an appt tomorrow for suboxone, its to help you kick the habit of pain pill, could be for other drugs too.. Not sure about that.. Its supposed to take all cravings away for pain pills.. Im still learning about it myself... I probably am not the one to be really answering this question, buy hey..
