Hi and welcome to the forum. Your pain will feel worse for awhile as you will experience rebound pain when coming off the pills. Many of us found our pain actually got better once we quit using. It does take some time. Tapering will ease the wd symptoms some but you have to be really mentally strong to do this. It's better if you have someone hold the pills for you if you chose to taper down. Check out the health pages that are on the right hand side of this page. There is alot of good info in there. You can do this so stay positive.....sara

Hello,
If you were to taper, do you have somebody to hold your pills for you? If you go ct, you are looking at about 5 days, its hard to say because everybody is different but...I'd get it over with if you can. If you can get a prescription for clonodine which is a blood pressure med used for withdrawals, that will help, along with melatonin, Hylands Restless Legs, bananas, plenty of fluids, exercise, HOT baths with Epsom Salts, There's the Thomas Recipe in the health pages you could look at and some amino acid suggestions as well. Then think about getting into aftercare. And keep posting :)
