HI and welcome to the forum.....your doing good if your capable of tapering down most addicts cat do that hence is why so many just jump off the more you taper down the less extream your withdrawal will be.....as for beating it completely I dont think its possible best you can hope for is damage control as for the wisman method we have had 2 members spend the 20grand it cost one member had nothing but good to say but after dealing with him for 2 weeks prior Im not so sure he would have told the truth if it was bad the second member said it was a disaster that when they all got to the spa everyone was dope sick\
everything I chave learned about quick detox tells me it dosent work....you will find the mental part of this much harder on you then all the physical stuff combined you beast bet since you can taper is bring it down to 1 pill then jump expect a mild flu like symptoms for around 4 days but it shouldn't be to bad you will get threw it save your money the experience is all part of getting well and I feel a necessary part of recovery keep posting for support we all want to see you get well good luck and God bless.....Gnarly
I took Norco for about 10 years and what I know is I didn't get in the situation where I was addicted overnight and I don't think a quick cure would fix the addiction that I have.
I read about the Waismann Method and I guess its worth a shot, but I don't know longterm what the results are. It looks like a quick fix to me.
I don't think there is a painless way to get clean from an opiate addiction. But this is just my opinion.
What I did was taper down to between 1 or a half of 1 a day and then went cold turkey. I'm 50 and since I took the narcotics for so many years, I had some wicked withdrawals. But that was 19 days ago. I'm in a much better place now. I started going to N/A, I've talked with family members, even had some medical procedures done today and didn't relapse.
If I can do it, you can do it too. The people here are so good and helpful and they really got me through that really bad time. Listen to them. They will give you sound advice.
