I'm trying 2 get life back on track

Ok first I was a kind of person who wanted so much out of life. I bought my first home in my early 30 .happy with my life. Then one day I got sick had ovarian cancer. Had surgery they put me on pain bump I think it was morphine. I stayed on it 4 a week. Then I was sent home with hydros. I took them right at first .Then my dog died I had 2 take one just to go 2 work face people without crying. .I had him 4 13 years. Everyday got easier. Then one day I ran out at work. I felt like I was carrying around 1000lbs.like I have the flu. This lady told me that is withdrawal symptoms. I didn't have a clue I could get strung out on pain meds . this was before they were such an academic. Now everyone and their dog are hooked. I hate opines. I'm n a bad situation my cancer is back now I'm on palliative care. They put me on methadone and oxies 15 mgs oxies 5 mg methadone. I don't believe in treatment .I believe only u can decide if ur ready

Hey chickie I'm so sorry to hear this happened to you. As a cancer survivor myself, 17 yrs I wanted to talk to you about treatment and attitude. I asked for the most aggressive treatment available to help me conquer stage 3 breast ca. My children were 4 and 7 and I was 39.  Had all the surgery and all the chemo and the wings of a warrior.  The most important thing is to stay in the zone, think positive thoughts and fight like hell. Pm me if you would like to talk. As far as I'm concerned, opiates are just one more tool in the arsenal against this disease. You should use them as needed and don't worry about it. Take it one day at a time and stay strong and focused. God bless you my dear.
