what people suggest to help with wds??

just curious its been a while since i was on here, wanted to know what i could take/use for wd symptoms?? i know there is some stuff called hylanders or something like that?? any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated i wanted to go to the store soon TY!!

Yes, the product you're talking about is called Hylands Restful Legs - and is sold at most drugstores and health food stores.  I've never tried it but have heard many members talk about getting great relief from it for the awful restless legs (and arms too in my case, weird) that seem to happen to most of us.

Hot showers and baths with epsom salts help a lot with anxiety and the salts help draw out toxins from your body through your skin (same thing as sweating which is why exercise is great too).  Vitamins/supplements are great too - I take fish oil, st. john's wort (I'll be stopping the st. johns wort on Sunday as that will be my 6 month mark) but it helped SO much with the depression.  B-12 sublinguals are great for energy and I also take a multi-vitamin every day.  Check out the thomas recipe and the amino acid protocol found at the bottom right side of this page - a lot of great ideas in there.

Comfort foods in the house are a good idea - stuff like soup, saltines, ginger ale, orange or apple juice, and yogurt.  Bananas are great for the restless legs too as the potassium helps with that.  And a lot of patience (obviously) because as you know, it takes a while to feel better.  Just don't expect too much or put too much pressure on yourself right now.  It will get better, albeit slowly at first, but then SO much better.  I found at about a month I felt better for more days in a row, but still had good and bad days even at 3 months out.  So you just have to ride it out as best you can.  Music helps a lot too.

But most importantly, keep posting and talking about how you're feeling.  I think most of us addicts have to find a new way to cope with life, instead of taking a pill (or whatever you DOC is), so getting those feelings out and finding someone to talk to about what you're going through will help so so much!  I wish you much luck - I'll be rooting for you!  :)  YOU CAN DO THIS!!!
