Yeah I definitely agree keep posting and reading here it is unbelievable just how much this site helps. I was amazed at how much easier it seemed to make it in fact I would have to say it actually made it dooable in my eyes as I did not think I could make it through the first two weeks with hospitalization but I did it and I give the credit to the people here who helped me so much and still do as I am not to far out of the woods myself and from experience know that this is my time that I have the mental part of it hit me hard. You hang in there and know we are all pulling for you. There are many great people here and I can't see anyone here ever not taking someone under their wing to make it through this..... All the best to you and yours, Mike

they they pretty much covered everything so i will just say this..it does feel like the worst flu ever but after about day 5 everyday you do get a little better. for me the enery and sleep were the last things to get back. Just try to stay busy. With 3 kids that shouldnt be to hard. lol. Make yourself get up and do something. start off small and work your way up from there. Walking help me alot. I think the combo of fresh air and excersize is what did it. You are lucky though at least its nice out. I went threw my WD in DEcember so it was cold and i hate the cold. I said this earlier in another post but..i was so bundled up i look like the kid from THe Christmas Story. Anyone who saw me must of thought i was nuts but it really did help. IF you have a hard time sleeping try advil PM or something similiar. Didnt always help but i was able to get some good nights of sleep with them. goodn luck to you and stay strong. All the **** you will go threw is so worth getting back your old self!!!!!

congratulations ! admitting theres a problem or potential one is the first step, and wanting to do something is the next..so it sounds like you are mentally prepared..The w/ds do vary as wannabefree said...you haven't been taking them a real long time so hopefully your w/ds will pass quickly. You will have muscle weakness/pain..a general sense of feeling like ****. and visiting the bathroom alot..generally day 3-4 are the worst and then things start to improve..It is definately doable!!. Get in that frame of mind and fight it..keep posting, we are all here to help and encourage one another.

You have come to the right place.  Everyone has different severity of w/d.  For me, it is at its worst for the first 5 days.  After that, plan on 2-5 days of low energy while your body builds back up.  This is not impossible.  The symptoms are similar to the flu, so you can just plan on having 'the flu' for about a week.  But it's soooo worth it to get your life back.  Good luck and keep posting.  The people on here have much advice and are a great emotional support.
