i got out of 30-day treatment for opiates, then fractured my wrist the next day and back on percocets. i am getting my cast off tomorrow and am out of pills except for a couple. i have klonopin. clonidine, lyrica and neurontin. am very scared- can't believe this happened. should i take one-half percocet along with other drugs to help withdrawal? i am mostly scared of extreme depression i get with withdrawal.

well, woke up with extreme headache in middle of night and had to take a perc - feel like a failure. not sure if this nightmare will end. get my cast off in an hour. then we are on deadline at work so have to look happy, busy.

ok. your encouragement is really helping me. i will go cold-turkey and see. i want my life back. i can go to aftercare if i want. my insurance will pay 100 percent but like all good addicts, i'd rather have pills. not really. i always get back to hell. thanx for your help.

That's not a very high dose.I would just cold turkey it and you will feel a little puny for a week.I doubt at that low dose you will have much withdrawal,especially with the clonidine you have.If you get depressed just come on here and post.Alot of people are always here to help you out and talk to you.Good luck.

thanks for advice. i was on percs 5 mg taking two to three a day for past six weeks. found out i have some osteoporesis and that is why fractured wrist. i wish this wasn't happening to me.

How long were you on the percs this time?If not more than a month I would just cold turkey it.Depression suks but I don't think prolonging the agony is going to help.Sooner yuo get off the sooner the depression goes away.Too bad that happened to you so soon after rehab.
