can maraquana cause problems with general anastesia?
I am about to have a breast operation in a few days and want to know whether marajuana is dangerous with general anastesia? What is the effect, if any? I am not planning on smoking the day of the procedure (of course) but would like to continuing using before. Please respond as soon as possible. Thank you.
I know for a fact that you are not supposed to smoke wees, ciggs, cigars, etc. 2 weeks before any operation. It can cause serious side effects during and after the operation. You need to tell your doctor or anestesiologist this!!
I would be honest with your doctor. I've told ALL my doctors that I smoke, never been looked down upon for it and there were no probs with anethesia in MY case.
