hello everyone one. This is day 4 cold turkey. i went to see my mew Rhrumatologist yesterday and left feeling mentally better than I had in 8 months. The first nite i did 1/2 of a vike around 6pm but that wqas it all day. yesterday i went to rheumy -whom i loved= and he gave me s scrip for ativan just for the next few days until thy symptoms go away....i think the average is about 8 days....so I am half way throuth with onlu a 1/2 that very first day. it can be done but i think your faith has a HUGE amount to do with it. hey summer i was exactly like u last night was my fourth day of cutting a dose from 340mg per day to 112mgs per day an i 2 was so ill but ive had a bug and a cough on top of it all and cant figure out which is wd which is the bug!!
ive decided that for today and tommorow i will up my tapered dose from 112 mgs a day to under 200 mgs roughly to c if i get some relief it will still be a massive step for me so i will still be happy for myself and if i feel better in those 2 days i will go cold turkey i think tapering has been a nasty experience for me as i did it all in a day which was well wrong!!!!!!! but i now know what to expect from the full blown wds i dont want to be tapering and at the same time withdrawing for weeks.
it really is up to u how u do it yourself but like u said if your having withdrawals already maybe you should just get them over with up to u hun every one is different good luck keep posting so we know how your doing

Glad you made it to day 4. Can I ask a ? I have been tapering, but it had been 20 hours since my last pill. Did you need immodium on the first day or do I just have the flu? I haven't decided to go cold turkey yet, just seeing how I'm doing and waiting to take the pill before bedtime so I can sleep maybe.
However, if I'm already suffering the w/d effects, I might as well go c/t. Am I? or don't they come on for a few days? Thanks and bless you.
