day 6 on 5mgs of methadone..need help fast?

i was on 10 mgs for 13 monthes..went down to 7.5 mg for 5 days then a drop again to 5 mgs been here 6 days today..what do i do now to lesson anything??????? should i taper to 0? or jump off and get it done with???  i havent had not 1 withdraw in the 9 days today NOTHING..5 mgs to go...let me here ur input on whats the best way to (RID) this awful drug.....i cant take the sickness did it 2 yrs ago on 20 mgs CT.... thanks

I would TRY stay far away from any other addictive substance if you can at the moment.I hear methadone is the worst to come off ...We are here to help all we can ..

DUDE I WAS ON 80 MG'S OF METH AND WALKED OFF THE PG. YOU ARE GOLDEN IF YOU JUST QUIT NOW THE WORST SIDE EFFECT WOULD BE HAVING TROUBLE SLEEPING WHICH YOU CAN TAKE AMBIEN FOR.

I'm not real familiar with methadone but 5mg doesn't seem like alot!  Sounds like you're doing great and want to stop!  Personally I would go as long as I could without!
