thanks to all of you for prayers and support. I waited until 8 this morning-it is now 11 to take a film and just took less than a quarter of an 8 mg/2mg film. It helped alot although the nausea is a little bit there.but restless legs/body is gone thank God. now I feel as if I can begin a recovery journey. I know this isn't the way everyone should go but I don't want to spend my life in and out of treatment center/detoxes. I want to be at home this Christmas with my family. You guys are so great. hope you don't mind if I post a little each day. Your support means the world to me.

We wouldnt mind at all if you post everyday! thats what this forum is for and getting the support from others is what helps people to get clean, and helps people like me stay clean by helping others! So post away hun! :)

But I do agree with NG in that you need to see go to a sub clinic and have them help guide you through this. You need to be on a taper schedule and  taking them inconsistanly I dont think will really help you. Make sure that someone is helping you and guiding you every step of the way!

You need to see your sub doctor.  You should have been started on an induction dose, with a consistent dosage until you see him/her again.  Sub can be a great tool, when used properly.  The way it builds in the system is important to maintaining consistency, and stabilizing on a dose.

thanks for that. I was just going to take another sub at a lower amount. now I will take the same 2 mg.The nausea is bad but the withdrawals were worse. At AA I met a kid who had the same opiate problem as I and we talked a lot which helped both of us. we both said getting off the alcohol was nothing like opiates. For me, the craving is still bad. I am taking it one day at a time. Just try to make it thru today. Merry Christmas to everyone.

If I could reccommend something? It would help u more on the subs to have a steady dose. Say 2 mg in the am 2 in the evening. Once it builds up in ur system things will b a lot easier. :)

went to aa tonight. had to take another 1 mg sub film today. vomited but then felt okay. the aa meeting helped but I feel pain now that I didn't feel on oxy, my arm, my neck, etc. but I don't want to go back to the hell of the last three days withdrawing. I would have blown my head off if I had the means. One more day down. Merry Christmas and thanks to everyone.
