Steve:
I may have posted on one of your earlier threads about this, but as you know, sleep is the last piece of the physical recovery puzzle to fall in to place. I went through the same thing, except I didn't have any good nights of sleep. But - at least for me - the longer I was clean, the easier it was to handle the lack of sleep. So, just like many on this forum told me during my sleepless phase, hang in there...It will happen.

Good luck man. Stick with it. It will be a memory before you know it. I had a few good nights sleep and then 2 nights ago it all came back. The anxiety, sweats, and leg cramps. I know its going way, but it doesn't help at 3:00am while I'm staring at the ceiling knowing that work is only a couple of hours away.

Best of luck to you!

Hey man I totally feel ya bro.....I've got almost as many years in this as you.
It is a struggle to be sure....the positives of sobriety are extremely rewarding, however the years of use/abuse do take their toll. It  seems that we want everything to be "all better" immediately....it certainly doesn't work that way....just wanted to tell you that you have done a tremendous job brother...keep enjoying the good things and the negative stuff will pass in time. Hang tough my friend, as will I.........peace

We learn what the word "patience" means during this time.  Keep hanging in there.  Seems the older we get the longer it takes to get better!  You are doing great!!
