thinking i have a problem

So all thru my life i have never gotten "addicted" to anything i could drink for a week straight never crave it smoke and stop never crave it.  6 years ago my back started having really bad issues because i have arthritis.  So my dr started giving me loritabs and slowly went up.  Still i gave away alot of my prescription and never thought i was "addicted" i rarely felt any pains from not having them.  3 years ago i ended up trying crack with a boyfriend and found out i was pregnant.  I got myself off of everythign cold turkey at that point i was on 4-6 loritab 10's a day and smoking and drinking.  I stopped smoking no problem drinking no problem.  Pain meds i slowed down but no withdrawl.  then after my child was born my back issues came back BAD i was in the point i couldn't function.  So he started the loritabs again.  I would take them on days i needed them no issues.  Never withdrawl if i didn't have them.  THen My "pcos" started with a vengance (poly cystic ovarian syndrome) normally it's not suppose to hurt mine did! I was in the er 2-4 times a month. SO my dr uped me to 240 perk 10/325 a day i'm to take from 6-12.  At first i hated how i felt on them and thru them back at him.  GOd i wish i had stayed that way.  Then it got too bad and he told me i HAD to take them.  So 4 months ago i started.  I noticed on days i needed alot the next day i would feel shakey i hated it.  I never took my perscription all myself a famly member had no insurance so i would give them 2 her.  So i guess i justified that i wasn't addicted just helped out 2 much.  This month i ran out early.  i mean way early.  I waent to dr on the 27th but can't fill tell the 6th. I had three left.  Well i went in feeling like i had the flue.  SO the last week i've justified it as the flue until today.  I have nothing and i'm shaky light headed and passing out.  I'm sitting here with a perscription to refill but scared to death to do this again.  I"m trying to get pregnatn adn do NOT want to harm a child i concieve.  i have xanax and b6 and antacids i have been using since they thought it was the flue.  But today i know it's not.  I took an old percroption of loritab so i have one in my system but that is NOT the same as my perks.  HELP?  i really think i'm addicted to this....

I am on day 5, free from perks and immodium was my savior! It will help alleviate those flu like symptoms for the next few days and keep hydrated too (Gatorade)

I am on day 5 of sobriety from loritab and tramadols and I knew I was hooked once I tried to stop taking them and the shaking and cold sweats hit. For your sanity do not fill that script and ride this out no matter the pain you will thank your self for it later. We are all here if you need help but trust me stop this now before it gets worse. I have been an addict sense 2005 and trust me its horrid getting through the deeper you get in. I wish you luck and if you need anything I am a msg away!

hi well you are definitely at least dependent. you can only say if you are addicted. if you run out of your script early each month and take more than prescribed. if you take them not only for physical pain, if you take them to get a buzz.
right now you are in withdrawal. that is the flu symptoms you are feeling.
if you are trying to get pregnant i would definitely not refill the script.
you shared that you have been using some substance or other for awhile. you could possibly look into counseling and or a support group to figure out why you continue to use.
make sure you keep yourself hydrated. if you have diarrhea take immodium, hot baths with epsom salts for the aches and pains. please be careful with the xanax. they are very addicting.
