oxycontin w/d w/pain

I have taken oxy.80mg. 25 to 40 a day for more than 4 years plus  & fent patchs 100mc. 5 at a time.I was able to stop use of the patch 3mos.ago w/out much problem.Last tue. I had to stop all use of oxy. & after 3 days had to be hospitalized.I was realeased sun.& started the Thomas reciep.I don't have  much jones left but still weak & have alot of back & leg pain wich was the reason for the meds. in the first place.Would any one out there know of any other help for me.

There was something you mentioned that I'm amazed and interested in. You stopped 100mch/hr fentanyl patches with no problem??

Please share how you did that. I have tapered down to wearing a 25mch plus a 12mcg. I started on the 100's.

well, more then 3mnths into my c/t of methadone and i still hurt but its 2 differt drugs there is other ex-oxy users here that may be more help when i took pills it was hydros lots of support an dhelpful people good luck

I don't know what kind of resources you have where you live but I could not handle the withdrawls myself so I went to a clinic that does outpatient detox and they put me on suboxone for the withdrawls. This medication has been a godsend but only certain doctors can prescribe but there is a website suboxone.com where you can put your city and state info in and they will find a doc near you that prescribes this. Just some info in case you were interested.
