scared of withdrawls

I've been taking vicodin for seven years on a daily basis . I'm wanting to stop but scared to death of withdrawls . I've started to do some research online for home remedies . Thinking the tapering off would be best for me but would love some feedback . Depending on what I can get I do about 10 - 10s a day , or  7.50 . So my question is how to start the process , don't think I can do the whole cold turkey thing .

If you do the tapper you'll still fear the final pill. I like most couldn't do the tapper. We're all here to support you either way you go. God Bless

One more thing... Alot of times the FEAR of Wd's is Worse than the actual experience.. IF you end up having to go cold turkey it probably won't be as bad as your imagining (although it's no cake walk).. It's comparable to a nasty case of the flu! :)
