Im scared someone please help me I been taking 8 to 10 fioricet 3×daily  for 3 to 4 months how do I safely taper

I was trapped by this drug for a long time and it was awful so good for you trying to stop!  You'll be fine if you follow the taper.

That is a lot of fioricet for sure.  I was taking only 4 a day and still got hooked after 2 weeks.  I had no idea they are addictive...never had them before.  Took them for headaches induced by chemo.  No more.  Tapering off this week as recommended by dr.

It sounds like you take 24-30 pills per day. Is that correct? How are you tolerating it?  It's a toxic dose...

Welcome to wanting to get free from Fioricet. It is not allowed to provide a taper schedule on here, but what a lot of these people can provide is support for the physical and mental symptoms you may experience.

Are you getting the meds from a doctor? If so, can you let them know that you no longer want to continue the med.

I was told by my dr. That you cannot ct from that.  Needs to be a slow taper.  Can you see your dr for a taper scheadule?
