That is great to hear! Im a mother of 4 and a wife. It all started with the pills. And now I have 2 months clean from anything and everything. Its a big step to acknowledge you have a problem, but its a step in the right direction. We all make mistakes...were human. But we need to learn from them. Best of luck to you in your recovery!
Glad to see you. I accidently deleted my long welcome post, Starting to hate this laptop without a mouse. Anyways, You are incredible, stick around.
Congrats on 5 days and finding this site! It truly is a life saver. Keep coming back, reading and posting. You are about to turn a corner, hang in there!
Thank you for the welcome! Day 6...and I'm back. Feeling a little blue this morning but I know that's part of the recovery process. I'll manage though. This community is really amazing. Thanks for the support!
Good Morning! Yes its part of the process. But every time you feel depressed think of your family...They deserve the real you...the sober you. Thats the biggest thing that got me going. Were all a work in progress to creating something beautiful! I once heard that " a life of sobriety is not a death sentence to a life of misery, but a door open to a world of unimaginable things" That has stuck with me the most.
If you have to go outside, or do anything to get your mind in a better mood. I turn the music up really loud and clean:) I mean I clean from top to bottom. And my husband is like "today was a good day I hope" lol It feels great to be here today! Tomorrow is day 7 for you! On the 11th I will have 2 months so we all have something to be greatful for today! Everyday is a step in the right direction!
An awesome quote! Thanks...today is getting better. Doing the laundry and trying to focus on work. Thanks for the encouragement. I've been reading and following some of your posts. You are incredible....keep up the good work! Break that cycle girl!
Im trying my best! Thanks for your encouragment! Every bit helps! It takes an addict to know an addict so I can only tell what I know and how Ive felt and if that can help one person than I did something positive from my addiction experience!!
