Hi,
Foods containing tyramine (red wine, aged cheese, smoked fish, chicken livers, figs, and some beans), monosodium glutamate (MSG), or nitrates (like bacon, hot dogs, and salami) are all known triggers of migraine.
Some types of migraine are associated with warning symptoms which can occur hours before the head ache actually comes on.Tingling and numbness are two of them.
This is the only association I can think of between the cheese intake and tingling on the forehead.Perhaps you are fortunate enough that you don't actually suffer full-blown attacks.
Thanks for the insight, it is useful. I do then consider myself lucky as I cannot remember ever having a migraine.
The similar reaction to cats is vary interesting and may be a result of Toxoplasmosis
