I'm also on Lexapro 10mg. It has been fantastic. I'm still under a lot of stress at home and at school, so my stress level hasn't gone down that much, but i'm at least not having panic attacks anymore.
thanks u2 .. it will help. give it a month. Kevin
wow, thats good. i started 20 mgs yesterday and i am exicited to feel better, years ago i was on lexapro and i got to the point where i was doing so good i quit taking them. i am soo glad you are feeling better :--)
kalie
are you taking 20mg or more?
went to talk therapy first time this week. was interesting. learing some relation. meditation techniques. seem to help. doctor is a nice guy. so its easy. he says we can get to bottom of this quickly. im up to try anything.
only side effects were in the first 2 weeks i had upset stomach and headaches. the headaches got better but continued to week 5-6 but not as bad. now theyre pretty much gone. i have some fatigue also. but im not sure if its from the lexapro. but overall it really doesn't have any negative effects on you like a narcotic would. took a couple of weeks till it started working. i started sleeping better. and slowley started getting less anxious. and the physical symtoms of anxiety have slowley faded. mostley gone. now. good luck to you. gina. kevin
That is great news!!! You are moving in the right direction. In the next few days or week I will be starting possibly Effexor or Pristiq (or maybe an SSRI?). Meeting with my doc on Friday - hopefully I'll be able to post some positive results soon, too!
Let us know how you progress. Did you experience any negative side effects from the Lexapro? Have you taken anyother anti-anxiety md before? Just curious. I am nervous to start treatment soon.
anyone else have positive results
