I'm a college freshman and I consume alcohol regularly on the weekends.
This past weekend, I drank more than I usually do. Friday night, I drank half a handle of vodka, tequila shots, and beer. I induced vomiting at the end of the night to make myself feel better. The next morning, my stomach wasn't feeling so great, but I ended up drinking again Saturday night. On Saturday, I didn't have as much to drink as I did on Friday, but I got EXTREMELY sick. I was vomiting profusely for the better part of four hours. Obviously, Sunday morning I wasn't feeling well. Extreme nausea, headache, lightheaded, couldn't concentrate, felt weak, muscles hurt: the normal hangover symptoms.
Today I'm feeling just as bad as I did yesterday, but now I'm having some pretty bad anxiety that something more could be wrong with me. I've never had a hangover for more than a day. Today my vision is a bit blurry and almost darkened and it takes more energy to do normal things than it should. I'm shaking and my muscles just don't seem to be as controlled as they should. I fear that I may have had (or still have) alcohol poisoning or had been subjected to rufilin.
I have a pretty strong history of anxiety and depression.
Should I seek medical help, or just pass these symptoms off as anxiety?
