on stroke dizzy 24-7 and balance way off

my husband has 24-7 dizzyness and balance way off due to a stroke 3 years ago is there something for that the doc here says no there isent i think there nuts email me at ***@****

have they done anything to see why your husband is feeling like this,has the dizziness and off balance been present for the whole 3 years,they should at least check his ears and his blood pressure,this is crazy that they havent done more,i would ask to speak to another doctor or go to your nearest hospital for a second opinion

There are many things that can cause dizziness, and if they haven't ruled out other causes, then find a new doctor.  I know there are medications that help with dizziness, but it all depends on what is causing it.  They may just be assuming that it's from the stroke, when it may be something else.  I wouldn't just settle for medication for the dizziness, I would want him checked out thoroughly for other causes.  They still call the medical student that graduates at the bottom of his class....doctor!  I wish you both all the best, and take care.
