When I look at things they move?!

I have cold and my uncle wanted to walk up to McDonalds ( about a mile away) and I felt terrible but I got through it. I had to go to the bathroom before we ordered so as soon as we got there I used the restroom. I looked at the floor and it looked like it was moving!( like in a weird wave/sinking motion) I was sweating so disgustingly so I figured I shouldn't over react and assumed it was because 1. I'm sick 2. I'm I'm a hoodie and I'm hot as can be. But that was almost an hour ago and I think I'm just freaking myself out but I think it's still happening ( not as bad but I still might be freaking myself out) I have stigmatisms and a really bad eyes, and have had similar problems before but it's been a while. What could this be? Also people said it could be vertigo ( not sure if I'm spelling that correctly but what is that?)

Hello I have anxiety and have felt like this too. The first time it happened I was feeling a bit ill and didn't want to go out when it happened. I wouldn't worry you probably just need some rest!

Before I read your entire post, I was going to say that you may have had a fever which could, possibly, have affected your vision making the floor appear to move. But after reading the whole post and seeing that this has happened to you before, I would strongly suggest you discuss this with your doctor. Most likely he/she will refer you to an ophthalmologist for a complete eye examination.

A very brief definition of vertigo is that it's usually due to a problem with the inner ear but can also be caused by vision problems and other conditions. Vertigo is medically distinct from dizziness, lightheadedness, and unsteadiness in that vertigo involves the sensation of movement.

I am NOT a doctor and no doctor would EVER diagnose someone over the internet, but vertigo does seem to fit your symptoms. Be sure to discuss this possibility with your doctor. Vertigo is treatable.
Please see your doctor and try to calm down. Anxiety makes EVERYTHING worse.
I wish you the best
