I cant say they are paranormal but there was one night after it happened I went to slepp dreaming a song that I know I have never heard and sung by a girl I have never saw or i dont know exists or not. i know this sound weird but that was the craziest thing i ever felt right now, my body was fine but the jolt went through my brain so hard my entire body jumped in the air, have you any further advice please email thanks,
Hi, i too become totally paralysed if I let the "shock" run it's full corse. When comming out of the paralysis, it's like a thousand needles, tingling sensation that is similar to when your leg, arm etc falls asleep. I have never experienced any "paranormal" event / feeling and don't believe in its existence. However, I have learnt to control these brain shocks and when I feel them coming on, a strong like current building up all over the body and a buzzing (zzzzrzzrzrzzzrz) sound, I sit up quickly in bed and pinch myself lightly on the checks and ears. Sometimes, when its a stronger feeling, I need to clap my hands to remove the sound and stop the "explosion". This works but might happen in a bad night 5-8 times.. If I do not stop it, the is a tremendous "Bang" and then quite resulting in complete paralysis. I cannot lift even a finger. I can't be exact but I think it lasts for about 30 to 60 seconds and is extremley scary and unpleasant.
They started happening around 14 / 15.
i went off dothep after six years and i was only on that for pain.Have had head shocks ever since and they just don't go away.I am prepared to put up with them to stay off the medication. No one seems to have a cure so hopefully one day it will go away.I find it worse if i get up through the night and then try to go back to sleep.
these shock like feelings have happened to me for the last 8 or 9 months always right before falling asleep. Not sure but it all started after the diagnosis of high blood pressure. It kinda scares me and has me like everyone else typing in this forum. I guess the medicine could be related not sure. I did read something on Hypnotic shock where the body is shutting down in the sleep process and could cause a shock to the system, somatic I think. Anyways I wonder why there is not more information out there. Let me know if anyone knows more.....
Sounds like SSRI withdrawl. If you are taking this medicine in the morning you may be experiencing withdrawl by night. Try to slowly get off this destructive medication designed for profit!
Stop that boat and let me on it. Lol. It's the same for me the first time it happen I was up till about 4:45am then came along a panic attack. I really thought I was the only one and that I was going crazy. And I'm not onany medz as yet, dont drink don't smoke. Anxiety is a b***h
