Should I talk to her about this my next appt? She also said that if I do half to take medication then shed recommend for me buspar. Any experience with this? I need to be better not only for me but for my baby girl. She turns 2 today.
don't get scared.....believe me...I assure you all will be well. Just start medication along with therapy.... these medicines are not that big a deal in terms of side effects. Atleast they will start working right away & relieve you. Therapy takes time & at times, on its own is not enough & why should you have to suffer when you have a child to take care of as well??
I started therepy today. It went ok. She wants to c if I can get better with out meds but she scheduled me a appointment with the psychiatrist in march. Hell decide then unless I show no improvement here in a few weeks then ill c him soon. This is all so scary :'(
Yes it all went away....the klonopin really helped until the celexa kicked it. I do not feel like I am sick all he time. It is like a huge weight has been lifted....I hope you are feeling better soon
They gave me zoloft which I am terrified to take because of course I read all the reviews. And they sound terrible tje first 2 weeks. I am starting therepy today I'm sure there going to want me to take meds because idk how long ill b able to sit there without freaking out and having to leave :( .... so ur physical started goin away with celexa? I'm so scared of side effects
I suffered panic attacks for years. NO NEED. Paxil (anti-anxiety drug) has given me a huge sense of relief as well as psychotherapy. I am finally enjoying my professional and personal life.
I started having the same symptoms as you about 3 weeks ago. Two trips to the er, multiple tests done, X-rays, ultrasound....everything came back normal. I was always just feeling sick. It got really bad two weeks ago to the point I was sitting on the floor and all I could do is rock back and forth. I have an 8 month old daughter and I was feeling like I was losing my mind...it was awful. I went to my family doctor and she told me its anxiety...started on Celexa and klonopin and I am happy to say I already feel great. I will get waves of anxiety in the middle of the night but they go away fast and I am back to sleep. The anxiety can really consume you which is what is so terrible.
Did they give you any meds? The klonopin helped a lot while the celexa kicked in. I don't need the klonopin now. I have had no side effects either from the Celexa.
I am very similar to you. Three months ago I suffered a severe anxiety and haven't shaken the anxiety yet. Night is awful with all the wake ups. Morning is terrible. I have two kids that I feel like I am not there for. I have started on medication and therapy and have my fingers crossed. Just try and remember that you are not alone. That's why we are on this forum. I hope you get some relief soon!
I am the same in so many ways I started a few years ago but never thought much of it hen one day i felt out of place like it wasnt me thats when it all started i have never been the same since i fear to much about things that i shouldnt i always feel lightheaded and a feeling as if my legs are going to give up and make me fall and pass out . my vision seems weird its hard to explain ive been to the er multiple times ive had all types of blood work ekgs mris cat scans done all normal and im still not convinced your not alone and its hard but convince yourself i promise youll get better
