Depersonization SO bad

I need help, I feel like I’m barely hanging onto reality by a thread. My vision is blurry and I’m so anxious and feel like I can’t relate to other people at all, not even my family. Can anyone relate?!

Hello and welcome!

Depersonalization and derealization are one of the more upsetting unnerving symptoms of severe/chronic anxiety.  I've had DR several times, and I absolutely hated it. I wanted to share with you a link to a journal I wrote about this very subject, hopefully it will make you feel a little better.  PLEASE read all of the comments too, there is some amazingly helpful info in those comments, from people who have lived through it themselves.

Please keep in touch, let us know how you're doing!

Those are common signs of anxiety. Have you seen your doctor yet? Just to rule out anything else. But in general if you do indeed have anxiety you have to remember it's all in your mind. As scary as things feel. It's all in our minds. You are experiencing what many including myself have experienced. After starting medicine I began to feel better and the deep breathing does help. Just keep yourself busy and your mind, read a book, exercise, watch a movie, go for a walk, play a game, talk on the phone. Anything to keep your mind off things. And yes I know when you feel dizzy it feels impossible, but you can do it. I hope you feel better.

actually things like nausea vision blurriness those are common during anxiety attacks what you need to do is face it directly enough time to conquer it. Whatever your afraid of just face it breath deeply in though the mouth out through the nose then in through the mouth and repeat in rhythms of 6 while counting either slose your eyes or stare blankly into a Conner or at a pleasant image (note if you stare at a plesent image enough times during you meditation you will trigger the since of relief without the act
