Face tingling

Okay, this happens to me occasionally, and is almost always associated with my panic attacks. Sometimes the tingling in my face is the first symptom, sometimes it follows my heart palpitations and shortness of breath, and sometimes it shows up with no other symptoms. My anxiety attacks are few and far between, so I don't take any medications unless I'm in the ER during an attack. So, what in the world is this? Why does my face (usually my cheeks and nose) feels all fuzzy and tingly? Sometimes my fingers and hands will get that way too. I get light headed and it unduces more panic. The feeling, you can compare to taking a dose of niacin suppliment, if ever you have. Is it part of the attack, or something unrelated?

It is two things - adrenalin that causes the same as a blush only more severe and low carbon dioxide in the blood from over breathing

I often get this when I have panic attacks.  ive read lots of books and stuff about anxiety and numbness and tingling in certain parts of the body are very common.  Usually my face gets tingly and then it travels down my body and my whole body goes numb! I think that this is definitly related to your panic attacks.
