Fear??

I recently got a fear of having schizophrenia. I fear that out of no where I start hearing voices and seeing things. I have anxiety and panic attacks. I do go to a psychologist and a psychiatrist they said I have anxiety panic attacks. I do take medications but in a low dose. I dont hear voices or see hallucinations..etc. But Im really afraid that out of no where I start hearing voices or hallucinate. Has anyone else had this fear or has it. Could anyone give me some advice. Thanks....

Dude I have the same fear I know it  suck like every day I think I hear something but it's just the wind or the noise the tires make when ur I  the car message me so we can talk if you want

Why do u think u have this fear, do u have a family history of schizophrenia? The fact that u are under medical care and have been diagnosed should be a great relief to u and I can honestly tell you that anxiety and panic attacks does not cause Schizophrenia. If ur doctoir showed u a chart of all the levels and kinds of mental illness u will find that anxiety and panic disorder is a neurotic illness at the beginning of the spectrum and then Schizophrenia is right at the other end under severe pychotic illness.  There is a massive gap in between where so many other mental illnesses are. Ranging from personailty disorders to bi-polar to borderline....

If your mental health team have told u it is anxiety I would trust them on this but maybne u should discuss increasing ur medication as u are clearly still anxious and it is causing u distress.  What medications are u taking, anti-d's, benzo's?  My advice would be to discuss this further so appropriate care and take place and don't let them fob u off, demand they do something.  Cause in my experience with doctors they listen and say they'll help and then ur waiting for months before action is taken, so stand ur ground.
