My wife has really bad gag reflexes. I know hers isnt anxiety driven though. She has pretty large tonsils and I think that has something to do with it. When she laughs really hard she gags sometimes, and she hates it. But she finds that a really strong mint or mint gum really helps for some reason. Have you tried that?
