First off, it's very doubtful brain chemicals -- generally neurotransmitters -- are in excess or insufficient amounts. Nobody's yet found any such cause of the vast majority of cases of mental disorders. And chronic anxiety never really has a reason -- brains are hardwired to handle stress or there wouldn't be any life left on the planet. As for not having any regard for social norms and approval of others at all, that in itself, if true, and I don't believe it really is, I think you're exaggerating, would be a mental disorder. I think you need to see a psychologist who specializes in anxiety treatment who can help you both to learn relaxation techniques, how to think differently, and maybe why you have this insecurity about being around others.
