My drs. are still working on the reasoning behind mine and do not actually consider the issue anxiety but that the anxiety is caused by the issue.
I on the other hand am starting to wonder otherwise !
First off, I'm not a medical professional. From my personal experiences & research, our bodies recognize the anxiety chemical as the "fight or flight" chemical. It dumps chemicals into our system to prepare us for fleeing or to defend. When we don't DO the fight or flight, our bodies try to reconcile all the chemicals and body system preparation that we didn't use. Additionally, anxiety can cause an oxygen/CO2 imbalance that can make you feel crummy.
All I can recommend from my own experiences is a lot of good, slow, deep breathing; exercise; distraction; and other techniques to manage anxiety.
Also, have you addressed this with your doctor? Never hurts to get a professional opinion.
I would really like to know the answer to this as well. I have had this for 3.5 years and have never had a dx as of yet. Often wonder if it is in fact anxiety that is causing this horrible sensation. Unfortunately, it is in my arms as well now.
