A perfect example of Anxiety?

So, 2 days ago I noticed a small swelling in my mouth, I immedietly had the urge to look it up on the net, Managed to stop myself untill earlier today, but in the end I succumbed and took a look anyways.

From this came that and in the end I managed to notice that it is one of the symptons for Cervical Cancer, Now with my main cause of Anxiety beeing fear of Cancer, My heart started to race and I could feel the Panic Rising!

The more Symptons I read the more symptons I seemed to have! I got Terrified...

The only problem was...I did not know what Cervical was..

So I decided to look it up..

Apperently Cervical Cancer was Cancer to the Cervix, And once again, I did not have any idea what that was (My main language is not English :P)

Apperantly the Cervix is an Organ(dont know if it should be called like that) that only females have.

After looking up what it was I immedietly calmed down and felt like Smashing my head against the wall...

I am a male...And I was afraid of having Cervical Cancer by reading online Symptons.

This all happened less then 30 minutes ago, And I have really learned quite a lesson out of this, I hope this helps others out a bit aswell.

Yes perfect example of anxiety. And if men had cervix, you'd think that you have cervical cancer. Oh and you broke your promise about not looking for symptoms online.

MY FRIEND, LOOKING FOR IT ONLINE WILL NOT GET YOU DIAGNOSED NOR WILL IT HELP YOU COOL DOWN. IT WILL ONLY MAKE YOU WORRIED. It is OK to look for certain diseases after you have been diagnosed by a doctor but being a hypochondriac and doing this is like adding fuel to the fire.

When you  have symptoms go to your doctor. Or ask questions on the forums and get tested etc. But when you have a symptom, avoid search engine.

BTW, how old are you and whats your origin if I may ask?
