Help?

I've been overweight my entire life. I was around 270 at my heaviest, but earlier this year I had a relapse because I cold turkey cut medication out of my life that I shouldn't have (I have Chronic Depression and horrible Generalized Anxiety) and had to be hospitalized and monitered until I was stable again. I lost weight REALLY rapidly and got down to 205 within 2 months, due to lack of nutrition. When I conceived 6 weeks ago, I was still at 205, but my weight started quickly going up (for a pregnancy at least). Just yesterday I was 212.5, now I'm down to 208.5! My weight keeps fluctuating and it's worrying me. I feel like it's not normal. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm getting anxiety because I can't get it out of my mind that something is wrong. The stress can't be good for the baby at all. Not to mention, the anxiety is making me go into hypochondriac mode.. I feel like there is sooo much wrong with me, and like I'm experiencing symptoms I shouldn't be experiencing! Ahh! Help?

This should probably be in the pregancy section, because those of us in the mental health forum are probably not familiar with weight loss and pregnancy. If you were on medication and are pregnant, than I assume you are in contact with both a therapist or a doctor. Talk to them about whats going on. Be proactive, call them tomorrow. If you are not in touch with a therapist and doctor, you should get a therapist for your mental health issues and start seeing a doctor for prenatal care.

How are you eating now? It's not that uncommon to actually lose weight the first few months of pregnancy. All women are different and all pregnancies are different. As long as you're eating healthy everything should be just fine. But, if you continue to lose weight see your OB Dr.
