Lexapro and serotonin syndrom

Hi I have been on lexapro for 5 years. Last week I had aserotonin syndrom reaction to robitussin. I am now very panicky and scared of anything that raises my levels. I'm wondering if it's possible to get serotonin syndrom from sex and exercise while taking lexapro. I know it's silly but like I said I'm trying to be super cautious because it was a very scary experience.

Did a doctor diagnose you with serotonin syndrome?  I'm dubious, because it's a pretty severe and rare condition.  More likely you might have been affected by the alcohol in it.  So again, were you diagnosed as having serotonin syndrome?  And sex and exercise have nothing to do with this, serotonin syndrome usually occurs when someone mixes different drugs that target serotonin receptors, which to my knowledge Robitussin does not.
