I will assume you've been seen by a cardiologist, a gastroenterologist, your OB/GYN and an EENT. Somebody for all your symptoms! And they've come up empty handed.........
Have you had your gallbladder examined?
What is your chest pain like? Where is the pain located? When do you have the pain? Do you have any other symptoms along with the pain? Did you do a cardiac stress test? Chest X rays? Are you on HRT?
Sorry for all the questions, but it would help to know what has or hasn't been ruled out.
Anxiety can definitely cause chest pains, but a great many other things can as well.
Please make sure that these doctors are giving you the full benefit of their training and not just giving you a quick once over and saying it's just anxiety. Anxiety should be the diagnosis after and ONLY after everything else has been completely and thoroughly ruled out.
It is your right to request that specific tests be run. The stress test with an echocardiogram is one I'd recommend. An endoscopy for sure. Your GYN should make sure it's not the HRT that is causing these symptoms and the lump in your throat, well, I'm not sure what thest there might be for that, but just have the EENT keep his eye on it.
Do NOT let the doctors blow you off because you are a 54 y/o menopausal woman! We women of a "certain age" are not hysterical, anxiety ridden crones!
You stay after them until they find a diagnosis.
I wish you the very best
Peace
