Today im feeling doom & gloom

Its about a week before my period and already the hormones have kicked in. I getthat doom & gloom feeling and extra anxious....Like i need to be anymore than I am. I am sitting here at my desk feeling all sorts of dizzy. I am even thinking that I might have a sinus/ear fluid thing going on. I have an icky taste in my mouth like post nasal drip.
I work for a fairly large company and today they are giving ou service awards and I am getting one for my 10yrs.  I have to get up in front of everyone later this afternoon...hoping by then my anxiety.dizziness diminishes.
Im thankfull this is a very short work week though :)

When I was about 19/20 I have my 1st PA it took almost a year to diagnose. I am now 37 and although for yrs I was doing well these past few months the PA's have been overwhelming. Cant remember when I was last calm for a a few days at a time...I will get back there. I will add you as a freidn Mindy, this is a great site for support and talking, sharing etc

Hi,
I am new to this forum and was just wondering when your anxiety started?? I recently have been diagnosed with anxiety and would really like someone to talk to about it!
Thanks so much

Yes when I feel run down or sick my anxiety level goes up. Does anyone else's? My father has said that I dont do well anxiety wise when sick/run down. Its almost like I am too in tuned to how I feel etc...that I bring it on.
Lately i dont want to be at work bc I feel trapped, I have to fight those agoraphobic moments & hrs....
I am trying to see the positives...thanks for your words cj & happy thanksgiving to you & yours.

The 'good' aspect of what you are describing is you know how you feel during this time.  In my experience, knowledge of this can really help us cope (even though we may not feel better physically).   Also, remember that during these few months we can tend to feel even more 'icky' because of all the colds and sicknesses going around.  Focus on the positive.  Even though you are feeling anxious you are still at work and as you said...Thanksgiving is getting close:)
