I had a slight fainting episode on Friday which had me spooked and I checked into the ER. On my way to lunch around 2p, I became extremely light headed, cold sweats, shaking, clammy, very nauseated with a pulse that was skyrocketing and heart flutters. I arrived at the diner and completely spaced out for about 10 seconds when I sat down. I tried to stomach eating, but I couldn't chew more than a few bites.
The ER doc said he didn't think it was low blood sugar, but an issue with a arrhythmic heart beat (which I've been to a cardiologist about). Blood tests for sugar levels and electrolytes came back fine.
Over the last 3-4 days days my appetite has hit zero. I've had to set alarms to remind myself to eat. Any more than a few bites of makes me nauseated and abnormally full, even a bit painful in the upper abdomen. I've dropped from about 172lbs to 164lbs. A reminder to eat something every 3 hours has pushed me back up to 168lbs.
Today I had a near fainting episode. Getting up from the toilet, I felt anxious, cold sweats, nauseated, un-well, light headed with a very rapid pulse with heart flutters. I had to lay down immediately. I ended up taking an hour nap, waking up feeling a bit better but still uneasy.
My stools over the last 24 hours days have been small, broken, and very grey with color leeching. I've been taking a multivitamin and fiber supplements for a few days to see if they would help with my appetite, nausea, and stool. They havent.
I'd include a snapshot of the stool as an FYI: http://i61.tinypic.com/o8sytl.jpg
