Slight backache is causing me to worry

I broke a very important rule when it comes to anxiety, I googled my symptoms. Needless to say my anxiety has been up and down for days. I went to the OBgyn after I looked up lower back pain and a boat load of things came up that scared me even more. She didn't seem too concerned about the back ache and kinda dismissed it as maybe a muscle spasm. She checked me for UTI, kidney infection and even pounded on my back a little, I had no pain when she did, the pain is lower back at the top of my butt I can only feel it when I lay down or am sitting upright like driving. When I touch my back I don't feel any pain which was kinda bizarre. I even took an aleve only one it helped some. I was concerned that the back ache was a cyst or fibroid again she wasn't after the exam but scheduled an ultrasound anyway to be sure. I had a pap done and am also nervous about that too, hadn't been to te doctor in awhile. Anyway just wanted to vent that out a little hope everyone's having a good day.

I wallclimb every other day and think I have a rib that moved slightly out of place 3 months ago. The rib moved last year but after a chiropractor hit it the pain disappeared for a year.
Every night after climbing it hurts while in bed but is fine the next day. I mentioned it to doc yesterday while there for other problems - she didn't even look at it and said likely that is what happened again and if it continues hurting see her in 2 months. Minor back ouches like this can happen to anyone at any time so if they say you are fine try to let it go, because the only problem is your worrying.
If you are worried that something you have will kill you then google it, you are sure to read somewhere that it can kill you. So stay away from googling if you want to stop worrying.
You aren't a doc, so the only way to peace will to be stop self diagnosing and start accepting what the real doc says. Not easy perhaps - best of luck.

Hi!  Sorry you're going through this, anxiety is the pits.

Yeah, that Dr. Google is a terrifying thing.  And anxiety can make us more vulnerable to focusing on our physical twinges.  It's great news that all those results are coming back negative.  Focus on that.  When you feel the anxiety creeping in, just tell yourself, "this is just anxiety.  I do not have (xyz) because the test results said so."

You may have just tweaked or bumped something & don't remember, and it's just bothering you a bit while it heals.  As always, if it becomes more serious, definitely follow up with your doctor.  But it sounds like you're doing a good job ruling things out.

Vent away any time!  Good luck!
