Klonopin withdraw
I have been taking Klonopin for about four months & would like to come off of it my prescribed paxil 20mg but i am afraid to take it because i have had rapid heart beat before i took it one day i would like to know if this is normal or seretonin syndrome and what i should do.
Great advise. I was only taking 1 mg of Klonopin and cut back to .5mg for only a few days, and 7 days later, my blood pressure rose, tingling and impending doom feelings occurred. So I will hang out with ,5 mg for a couple weeks and then cut those in half to , .25 and take them for a week before I say goodbye. I also have reintroduece my Prozac as part ot the process.

You will experience tolerance or w/d symptoms while on, getting off or tapering Klonopin, do not cold turkey the medication. Gradually taper off the Klonopin, is recommended. Try cutting .5mg every 7-14 days, while introducing Paxil. Hope this helped.
