Nausea and muscle fatigue

Hello,

I am not currently being treated for an anxiety disorder, but have been under some significant stress as of late, and I think it may be affecting my health. I had routine bloodwork done as part of an annual physical and my sodium level came back one point lower than the normal range. It has since been retested and is now in the normal range. Unfortunately, I searched the internet prior to the second draw and have come up with a variety of diseases that cause low sodium and am concerned that I am sick even though my bloodlevels are now all normal. I have noticed that I've begun to have periods of nausea and muscle fatigue throughout the day - sometimes when I worrying about my health and other times not. My question is can nausea and muscle fatigue be a symptom of anxiety and stress even during periods when I am not worrying about my health? Thank you in advance for any help that you can provide.

Thank you! This sounds exactly like what I am doing to myself. Is a twitch something such as a quick jerk of the leg? I've had that happen to me several times over the past couple days and it really scared me. I do see a therapist for some life balance issues, so I plan to bring this up when I see him on Friday. You are very kind for responding to me. I need to stop googling, but it's very hard not to.

Well to be honest with you they lasted for about two months because I had a particularly intense anxiety episode. I did decide to start taking zoloft because I was at a breaking point, I couldnt eat and it was just horrible. So after about a month of taking zoloft I felt much much better! I still feel muscle twitching every now and then but it didnt worry me like before. But anxiety can really, really mess with your head. It came to a point for me when I didn't know if what I felt was real or if it was just anxiety. You are soooo in tune with your body and are on constant "alert" so you tend to notice those things a lot more than usual. My best advise is to try and distract yourself and do not google that is how I got in trouble to begin with. I typed dizziness and MS came up so I was convinced that is what I had! Its a bit funny now but at that time I was really going crazy! Take care!

Thank you for the response. How long did your symptoms last for and did you need medication for them to decrease or go away all together? I appreciate your input.
