I don't fully understand your question. But to answer the best I can (I'm not a Dr.) but I do know that anxiety causes lots of strange and sometimes scary sensations all over our bodies etc. including the face. Numbness, tingling, tightness etc.
The brain is a very complex organ. Hang in there. =)
I'm thinking that you MIGHT find an answer on the Dermatology Forum. I don't think it will have anything to do with oxytocin though. Oxytocin is a hormone used almost exclusively to aid women during labor to stimulate contractions, to induce labor in cases of maternal diabetes, preeclampsia, eclampsia and erythroblastosts fetalis. Did someone tell you this drug would help with wrinkles? Perhaps you should speak with a plastic surgeon?

Yes, I am aware that it is used as a hormone to aid labour (on the muscles), but I have also read that it acts on the facial muscles to smooth them out, therefore controlling signs of stress and anxiety on the face.
That's news to me but I will definitely do some research on it. Thanks for the info.
