Quick question about symptoms.

Ok here is my question
Can someone who has GAD when relaxed still have symptoms of anxiety?

let me try to explain it better.
Lets say you have GAD and your symptoms are "Dizziness, Tremors,"
Now lets say your totally relaxed nothing is bothering you is it still possible to have these symptoms even when your anxiety isn't there?

Yes, that is possible. The reason for this is that the Limbic System(the part of the brain also called the reptile brain, the most primitive part of the brain that keeps all the autonomic functions running and orchestrates various responses to protect us from danger) which is operating on a subconscious level can be active even if your conscious mind is relaxed, subdued etc.
It is very odd, because you can therefore still have physical symptoms of anxiety even if you don't experience psychical anxiety. Your subconscious brain can still be on high alert, producing symptoms even though you don't FEEL anxious.
The conscious part of the brain is constantly in dialogue with the subconscious part. This is why it is possible to treat anxiety and with time influence the subconscious part of the brain to loosen it's grip.
