Yes, where I live in MN physcs are hard to find on short notice. I might be able to find one if doctor enforced, but I can't do anything on a Saturday. He did do something for my raised white blood cell count with antibiotics from a mild infection. I wanted them to do a brain scan or something for naegleria just so this could ease my nerves of this horrible anxiety producer. Yet I knew that if I did such a thing I would be labeled as a nut case and denied without such treatment. If I hadn't read such a stupid article about this thing I wouldn't be in the same position I'm in now.
Why do you have to wait a month to see psychiatrist? Can you speak to your GP about what's going on and see if they'll help you or get you into the psych visit sooner?
If you doctor thought your white blood cell levels were significant he'd be doing something about them. Yes I believe high levels of anxiety can effect these levels or be caused by them.
Tell your doctor then you need some relief from your symptoms NOW!
I'm sure once you get relief for your anxiety your other health concerns will disappear.
I wish I could get some help, but sadly I would have to wait a month for treatment of a psychiatrist. I just want them to find out what could be wrong with me, all I want to do is sleep. Could severe anxiety for a couple days raise my white blood cell count? Thanks again for atleast helping me out.
Anxiety ALWAYS effected my ability to eat. I had gastrointestinal problems constantly.
Your antibiotic may also be upsetting your stomach.
Anxiety can last a long time. Don't confuse the anxiety most people feel at times in their life with anxiety disorder. They are 2 different things. What you are going thru is quite common with anxiety disorder. It can become a significant impairment if left untreated.
You are in the anxiety forum so you are aware of this at some level.
Go to someone trained at treating this disorder as soon as possible.
Thanks, but why can I not eat nothing without feeling nauseated even when calm. Can anxiety damage you for a good long week if it is bad enough?
All of your symptoms could add up to anxiety disorder. The fear, nausea, weakness, fatique, blurred vision are all typical anxiety symptoms.
Ask your doctor for a referral to a good psychiatrist as they are the best able to deal with the proper treatment of anxiety disorder.
