Tapering off xanax

I know there have been good post about tapering, but I can't seem to find them. Could anyone point me in the direction of the post. I see my therapist today.

glad to hear you are being monitored:) I have a script for 0.5mg of Ativan 3 x a day as needed. I have only needed about 5 in 2 months.My doctor says at that dosage you will not become addicted. I'm not sure if Xanax is the same though.

I will be working with my therapist's office. I have been taking it for a month an a half .25 four times a day.

you will need to be under the care of a doctor to taper off Xanax. How long have you been taking it?
