Can't sleep due to panic attack

I felt out of it today like a dream so I took my med and I calmed down from it, but tonight idk but my heart it beats 1 2 than 3 hits hard against my chest and it cause a pain in my chest but once it did happen at 3 every time my body jumps up cause of the last heart beat. My girlfriend grandfather said it could be a extra heartbeat which he said he has due to his anxiety/panic attacks if anyone knows about extra heartbeats let me know cause I know nothing about this best

I had the same thing Sean. I used to play softball and my heart rate would start pounding out of chest when I took off to run.  It happened so often that I lived with it up until I started to have panic attacks that ended me in the ER.   I've been on an anti-depressant called Celexa.  It has helped eliminate all my anxiety and panic disorder symptoms.  I went to the ER last year because my heart rate was almost 200 bpm.  The EMT could not stabilize my heart rate so they took me by ambulance and gave me Ativan at the hospital.  It took three hours to bring my heart rate down under 140.  My doctor put me on Celexa and xanax to see how I would do.  I no longer need the xanax and I'm on Celexa 20 mgs a day.  I feel great now.  I just wanted to let you know that the anti-depressants don't work for everyone but I feel like I can live my life without having to worry about having anxiety or panic attacks.
