If you are classed as a "high risk" pregnancy, then they are going to be monitoring you very closely. I understand that coming off those last doses is not only going to be difficult, but as you say, you see them as your safety net.
For these and all your other concerns, the only person who can advise you on how to safely (and comfortably) get you AND your baby through this pregnancy is your OB/GYN. I would make an appointment to deal with these issues as soon as possible. They are causing you stress and that is the very last thing you need.
Congratulations, btw! What grand news!
You're both going to be fine!
Peace

Thank you :) Yes, I have been nagging my GP's ear off. He's looked at my BP and HR and everything seems to be fine. I get a couple of early scans too to help put my mind at rest.
Hopefully after these next few weeks of withdrawal symptoms I can get over and enjoy every minute of pregnancy.
You're very welcome. I'm glad to hear they will doing some extra scans, which is very common in a high risk pregnancy.
And you nag that OB/GYN as much as you need to. If you have a concern, keeping it to yourself so you don't "bug" the doctor is only going to increase YOUR stress. You don't want that and neither does he.........so any questions you have, call or make an appointment.
Getting through the next couple of weeks may be a little rough, but try to keep busy and not focus completely on any withdrawal symptoms. They WILL pass, you WILL feel better and you'll know that as a mom, you are doing everything in your power to keep your baby as safe and healthy as you can.
Soon you will blossom into your pregnancy and it will be a magical time.
Please come back and let us know how you and baby are doing!
Peace

Thank you :)
