Is this anxiety?

When you are thinking about some other physiological problem that you might be having and your heart rate and (potentially) blood sugar rises?

If you look at all my posts on medhelp you can pretty much trace my recent medical issues.

All started with a vision issue where my one eye had a big jump in prescription (from -1.5 to +0.5), I was constantly testing it against my other eye, then the eye dr sent me to do a blood glucose test to rule out some possibilities, the test came back above normal 107, so started thinking about that too. Bought a blood glucose test device, started testing myself every day trying to calm down before each test, the results are in the normal range 88-92, but still at a high end.

Also my resting heart rate is 60-65 beat per minute (for example right now), but I am noticing it is often above 80, accompanied by what I think is anxiety/nervous feeling.

Are these the symptom of anxiety? Could the blood sugar level be affected by this?

And if so what is the best way to deal with it, should I try to stop myself from thinking about these other issues, or should I keep going over them to get them out of my system? Whats the advice?

Everything you described sounds normal. You may have hypacondria.. and slight anxiety. When you start thinking and worrying what's wrong with you and everything sounds like that's what it could be. Your heart rate and everything is very good. And blood sugars.. I'd say it's all in your mind.

A blood sugar of 107 is not bad, and 88-92 is really good. Anything above 127 is considered diabetic, so you're fine in that department. And it's going to fluctuate depending on what what and when you ate. Your resting heart rate is great, and even 80+ when you're anxious is entirely fine. So to answer your question, yes I think you should stop "checking your vitals." Get plenty of rest and exercise, eat a healthy diet, etc. and you'll be fine. :-)
