Been taking 6 mg per day for 2 to 3 years and didn't have any memory or fatigue issues until about 5-6 months ago.  I have been taking at least 2 mg before going to bed for a long time, sometimes they work, other days they don't sedate me at all.
I try not to have any stimulants because they just cause me to take more benzo's and I am already taking a large amount.
Tryed Melatonin about a year ago, didn't help.
Recently started taking b vitamins, magnesium, calcium, etc.  Hoping this may ease the side effects and withdrawal symptoms as I try to wean off.
Thanks for your seggestions.

If you are on any other drugs than the benzodiazepine or have a medical condition consult your doctor and pharmacist before using any supplements mentioned above.

It depends on how you take them... It can cause rebound headaches and various other muscular pains due to cramps.

Short term memory/anterograde memory problems and fatigue are the most prominent side-effects you can expect from a chronic exposure to benzodiazepines.

Insomnia will be experienced when you are not taking it before sleep and your body is craving it or when you come to the point you have built a tolerance to the medication which should be addressed with you doctor whether you need to increase the dosage or not.

Choline & inositol, B vitamin complex, fish oil (Omega-3) are most likely to help with the memory issue. A stimulant is also helpful. Green tea preferably because of it's neurotrophic and stimulating effects. It will also help with the fatigue at the same time.

Melatonin can be a good helper for insomnia.
